Letter to Charles Prescott detailing disorderly behavior of his classmates, 1818 November 11.

Letter gives detailed account of the disorderly behavior of members of Charles Prescott's class. Written to Prescott at Newburyport from a family member, possibly a sister, in Cambridge or Boston. Author refers to "the rebellion in your Class at College" and mentions the run-ins of "Brazer" and "Dr. Popkin" with unruly students. Also includes paragraphs about Prescott's bill and his leaving college, with an exhortation to "write me if you have a prospect of going to Sea, better repent & come back to Cambridge."

Charles Prescott (aged 16 in 1817) entered Harvard with the class of 1821 but left at "Commencement" in his sophomore year.
